Cairns Life Magazine – Home Life Supplement – May 2016
I had an addition 9 photos published in the HomeLife supplement to the May Edition of Cairns Life Magazine, making 31 in total. That’s the most that I’ve ever had published in one magazine. Happy Days, hopefully!
There is always a challenge to journalistic photography, as the location and time of day are usually fixed, and the timeframe is very short, so you are at the mercy of the elements, the location itself, lighting and sometimes the subject themselves. But everything went pretty well this month.

Up from 16 last month. I’m getting to meet plenty of great people from Cairns. It’s a great experience and often a challenge to get portraits and work environment photos, both indoors and outdoors, in a very restricted timeframe. Lighting is always a challenge, plus making people look great all the time. 24 shoots in about a week. Some will appear in the next issue.
